I've been trying to draw for a while, and it's just not working for me. It's weird, though, since I was able to come up with some stuff a while ago without too much difficulty (though with a lot of time, as is typical for me). I figured it might help to be trying a lit, but it seems to be just a good way to waste time. I wonder what it is I'm missing. Hm.

Cold Cold

Had little to no cold water for my shower this morning. It's surprising how much that can stick to you. It's always cold in the office at which I work, but today I'm chilled right to the bone. I also think I may be coming down with something. A cold, probably. I feel pretty crummy and tired, but I'm trying to keep my chin up. After all, Gab is employed again and we should be all sorts of financially stable again within, I don't know, the next couple months? We have some catch-up to do.

Also good news is it's Scribblenauts day today, which I'll be picking up after work, since I had it preordered and paid for since a while ago as an early/late birthday present. Who knew a present could be both early and late? Does that make it balance out to being right on time? I'll figure it does.

I'm not exactly sure what happened to my Labor Day weekend. I'm sure I did something, but I'm not sure what, but I'm sure it wasn't productive. Oh well.

I'm tired of being tired, and I'm very tired today. I have to wonder what's up with that, but I can't really afford to go to the doctor. Oh well again.

On the plus side, The Beatles: Rock Band comes out tomorrow, which I just need to pick up, and in a week, there's Scribblenauts. I'm totally pumped up for this. I predict I am going to continue to be unproductive.

This is Gab breaking into Fault's journal to wish him a happy birthday today (the 27th)! Aaron, when you see this, you'll get ~~one~~ two of your presents right away. I hope that you friends of his will wish him a happy one here, so that he'll get a bunch of nice comments in his email. :)

Well, just after posting my complaints about my job this morning, it turns out this afternoon that there's new reports that my bosses have and they think that I'm awesome and they want to give me more money. Huh. I'm a bit stunned at that.

So, maybe hard work does pay off eventually. Glad I stuck to it.

Hey, it looks like LoudTwitter stopped working for me. Oh well, no one liked that thing anyway, did they?

So, anyone reading this probably knows that my wife's boss bailed on her a while ago, so we're pretty darn poor. Seems he did a pretty masterful job of hosing us, too, but I won't go into that. I'm not even sure if he did it on purpose or if it was just a coincidental result of laziness and poor management of his employees and clients.

At least I still have my job, at least for now. It's stressful and I hate being here any more, and due to that and a number of other things, my attendance and punctuality has suffered. I keep feeling like I'm going to be in serious trouble, and though it hasn't happened yet (knock on wood), I'm not sure how much it would bother me if it happened any more.

I need to revise my book and try to sell it, but motivation of any kind is hard for me to come by these days. Bleh. I hope things start looking up soon.
